Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, coordinate and control overall costing and budget.
Provide contract and cost management expertise and coordinate project cost estimation.
Oversee value engineering exercise for optimization of project cost / budget including review consultant?s designs and material use.
Planning, execution and monitoring tender exercise for contractor?s appointment in various contract packages.
Review draft tender document, attending pre-tender meeting and tender interview.
Planning, monitoring and review tender reports for appointment of contractors.
Oversee project cost control including presentation of request for variation order and variation orders for management approval.
Monitor project progress and timeline including preparation and presentation of extension of time for management approval.
Conduct site valuation with consultants and contractors and evaluate monthly interim valuation for payment.
Liaison with client/consultants/sub-contractors/suppliers including all necessary correspondence and all contractual matters.
Undertake special assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as and when required.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Master. Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
Knowledgeable & well versed in contractual matters
Good organization and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent in Negotiation skill and communication skill
Independent, positive attitude, self-motivated, aggressive and good discipline.
Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
