Senior Shipping Executive

Job Description Our Company is currently expanding ! We are looking for aspiring individuals that fits the below description.
Key Responsibilities:
To mainly handle shipping activities for export and coordinate seamlessly with forwarders.
To plan, establish work schedules, assignments, and logistics sequences to ensure transportation and distribution of finished goods are performed in an accurate, timely and cost effective manner.
To arrange, prepare and compile shipping documentation required for export customers, including bill of lading and export paperwork.
To routes outgoing shipments through various freight forwarders and schedule transportation of shipments.
To work closely with internal departments especially Sales & Warehouse department?to ensure on- time shipment and in accordance to the agreed schedule.
To responsible for smooth and timely delivery of goods by meeting customer?s expectations.
To select freight agents / forwarders / transporters and ensure cost effective operation at all times.
To be the key liaison with Custom / MITI / MIDA on regulatory / exemption / duties and shipment clearance issues, ensure all relevant reports are correct and updated.
To perform any others tasks as and when required.?
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Bachelor?s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin.
Preferably senior exeuctive level specializing in Shipping and at least 3 years of relavant working experience.
Having knowledge of local shipping activities would have the added advantage.
Meticulous and with good interpersonal skill.
Able to lead a team of subordinates.
