**Responsibilities****Central Support and Guidance**- Collaborate with the newsroom social media teams to understand their specific needs, challenges, and goals.- Address and resolve gaps and issues surfaced by the social media teams promptly and effectively- Provide guidance and support to social media teams on strategies, processes, best practices, content optimization, audience engagement, analytics and crisis management.- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide proactive guidance, insights and recommendations.- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, competitor activities, audience preferences and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative content creation and engagement strategies.- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among the distributed social media teams.**Technical Expertise and Tools**:- Configure and optimise the administration tools of major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.- Provide technical support for social management tools and platforms that are in use (e.g. Sprout Social)- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms, processes and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of social media operations.- Provide training and support to social media specialists**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.- 5 or more years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager with a strong tech-centric focus, demonstrating expertise in integrating technology into social media operations- Familiarity with the news industry is a plus.- Up-to-date knowledge and in-depth understanding of the major social media platforms, their functionalities, their APIs, configuration options, and best practices- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and optimizing the administration tools of major social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Business Tools and TikTok Business Tools- Proficiency in using Sprout Social and other social media management tools, social listening platforms, analytics and automation software- Familiarity with SEO principles and how they intersect with social media management- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.- Resourcefulness, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Social Media Platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter)- Social Management tools (Sprout Social)- API Configuration and other social media management tools (social listening platforms, analytics, and automation software)- SEO & Social media manager**Feedback From Client****Senior profile who has a good experience on the management side and social media strategies.
