Special Education Aba Therapist

GuruXcelerator is a social enterprise focused on providing "non profit" early intervention through specially designed education enrichment program to children with mild Autism/ Global Development Delay and other learning and behavioural difficulties. We are not a special school, our focus is to help and give opportunity to special children on case by case basis to intergrate into normal school curriculum and achieve academic performance.We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) Therapist to part of our pioneer education team to conduct assessment and research, design, review and implement a new enrichment education program for special children. Prior work experience is not needed but a willingness to learn and passion in the field of early learning and intervention is a must! To excel in this role, you must be playful, creative and connect warmly to children. As an ABA Therapist, you must be willing to adapt, are resilient emotionally, physically fit to play and have high levels of ownership and responsibility. You are expected to be independent, initiative and resoureful.To qualify you will need to meet the following criteria:- A minimum of Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology or Occupational Therapy or Special Education or related qualification- Open to commuting to and fro clients home(s) (for home based therapy) Work well in teams and collaborative in nature- Work well under pressure and open to feedback- Value continuous learning and always looking for ways to do things better- An objective thinker and a clear communicatorYour responsibilities will include:- Support child development through intensive play-based interactions and clinical programs with toddlers, pre-schoolers, school-going children.- Work closely with the team/parents to monitor progress.- Provide in-centre services, home-based or school-based support (to be determined per case basis)**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-timePart-time hours: 40 per week**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Afternoon shift- Evening shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Iskandar Puteri: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
