**Responsibilities**- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organizations tax liabilities and compliance.- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.- Oversee tax planning and reporting processes, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and related documentation.- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organizations operations.- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting teams on tax-related matters, including tax implications for business decisions and transactions.- Manage tax audits and inquiries, collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve any issues effectively.- Review and approve tax provisions and accruals for financial reporting purposes.- Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants, as necessary.- Monitor and mitigate tax risks identifying potential tax planning opportunities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are incorporated into business strategies and initiatives.- Lead and supervise tax professionals within the organization, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and performance.- Prepare and present tax reports and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.**Requirements**:- Proven experience with minimum 5 years in tax planning, compliance, and reporting, with a focus on complex tax issues.- Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide practical and effective solutions.- Experience in dealing with tax authorities, managing tax audits, and resolving tax-related inquiries.- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee a team of tax professionals.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present tax-related information to non-tax professionals effectively.- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data.- Proactive and forward-thinking, staying up-to-date with tax developments and their potential impact on the organization.- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tax-related projects and deadlines.- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners- Hybrid working arrangement available**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- How many years of managerial experience do you have?- What is your expected salary?
