The company provides airfreight, seafreight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing and distribution services. They provide logistics and supply chain solutions to aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, wine and spirits, and manufacturing industries.Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Trade Lane Development Manager is responsible for the overall volume and gross profit growth in the designated route through direct sales activity and in coordination with local sales force and overseas counterparts.**The role**:- Organizing and managing a country desk to respond to all overseas rate requests.- Support of MY, US, Europe, China sales team- Acting as the commercial liaison between the overseas team and local team- Develop new product services to increase volumes and GP.- Monthly reporting of sales activity of the overseas sales teams.- Be expert in the designated trade.- Serve as first point of contact for commercial questions from local sales, branches, operations, and trade development- Promote growth in airfreight and oceanfreight trade lane development volume- Provide internal services to field sales and trade development management through marketing campaigns, flyers, pricing, and routing solutions.- Responsible for the overall profitability of the lane.- Ultimately responsible for route pipeline at national level.- Prepare and present quarterly action plan and progress report to National Sales Director- Perform other duties as assigned.- Bachelor Degree in any discipline, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain.- Minimum 5 years successful international freight forwarding sales/operations experience.- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal skills.- Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.- Strong negotiating skills.- Able to travel extensive domestically and internationally.- Extensive knowledge of import/export processes and laws.Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- International Freight Forwarding: 5 years (preferred)- Sales: 5 years (preferred)
