**The Company**Our client is a global logistics company who provide freight management, supply chain, logistics, technology, and customer focused solutions.Reporting to the Country Manager, the Business Development Executive will be based in Selangor, Malaysia.**The Business Development Executive will be responsible to**:- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market and ensure sales target and profitability are achieved.- Development and performance of the Sales Executives.- Maintain healthy receivables and monitor level of bad debts for sales team.- Prepare action plans individually and in a team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.- Initiate and coordinate the development of actions plans to penetrate new markets and assist in development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.- Conduct one-on-one reviews with all Sales Executive to improve communication, identify training needs, and enhance their sales performance.- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the General Manager and maintain records of pricing, sales, and activity report submitted by Accounts Executive.- Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.- Assist Sales Executive in preparation of proposals and presentations.- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.- Ensure all company policies, procedure, and business ethic codes are adhered to and effectively communicate and implement within the team.- Monitor and ensure Sales Executives meet or exceed activity standards, and set an example in areas of personal character, commitment, and work habits.- Maintain contact with all clients in the market to ensure high levels of clients' satisfaction.- Collaborate and interact with all company employees.**The Requirements**- Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or Sales & Marketing or equivalent.- Minimum 4 years of sales experience with 3 years in sales management capacity in freight forwarding environment is a must.- Proven records of successful sales development strategies.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.- Good interpersonal and communication skills.- Able to work independently and multitask and meet tight deadlines.- Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.Pay: RM8,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Freight Forwarding: 3 years (preferred)- Sales: 6 years (preferred)
