Key Responsibilities: Champion adherence to Malaysian Accounting Standards, ensuring all accounting, tax, and internal procedures are met with precision. Expertly consolidate Financial Reports in accordance with IFRS tailored for the Malaysian Market. Supervise daily accounting operations, promoting efficiency and recommending improvements. Safeguard accurate and prompt financial transactions and bank compliance undertakings. Innovate and enhance departmental procedures, prioritizing resource efficiency and accuracy. Provide meticulous reviews of accounts, culminating in flawless monthly financial statements. Manage financial and ledger reconciliations, maintaining impeccable fiscal records. Direct cash flow management to ensure the financial security of the business. Lead and inspire a team of accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and timely delivery of responsibilities. Define and monitor departmental goals, nurturing staff development and progression. Remain informed on fiscal regulations, advising management on strategies for cost efficiency and risk aversion. Engage with Auditors to execute comprehensive year-end audits. Authority Reporting: Reporting directly to the Finance Manager at HQ and to the Country Manager, this role is integral to the operational and strategic financial framework of our company. Confidentiality: Upholding the confidentiality of all company secrets, both technological and business, is a core requirement of this role. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy, with expertise in Malaysian Accounting Standards and IFRS. Professional certifications such as CPA Malaysia, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous. A minimum of 3 years in accounting or audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. E-commerce background or comprehensive knowledge is preferred. Mastery of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with QuickBooks. Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving acumen, and strong leadership qualities.
