Information Technology (It) Assistant Officer

**Key role and responsibilities**:- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including servers, workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.- Manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.- Maintain software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.- Manage backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect our organization's IT infrastructure from threats.- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the IT infrastructure meets business requirements.- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including specifications, design documents, and user manuals.- Provide training and guidance on IT hardware and software to end-users.- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other IT related problems.- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT hardware and software and implement them where appropriate.**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to Friday- On callSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Batu Pahat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- IT support, networking, and infrastructure management: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Bahasa Melayu, English / Mandarin (preferred)Willingness to travel:- 25% (preferred)
