Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and responsible for full spectrum of IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems, infrastructure and services.
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- To lead software team in designing, developing and maintaining software programs.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Ensure successful delivery of software projects.
- Managing and overseeing escalation and problem resolution.
- Continuously research new technical capability and solutions for adoption.
- Work closely with CTO to develop technical strategy.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Proficient in both written & verbal in English.
- Proven working experience as an IT Manager, team leader or relevant experience.
- At least 7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s):
- Possess strong analytical, technical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess critical thinking ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Fundamental know-how of any of the following technical stacks: PHP, Javascript, Vue.js, Apache Web Server, Nginx, MySQL, Python. (Priority PHP)
- Knowledge in AWS Cloud Computing services is an added advantage!
- Know how in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence would be a plus.
- Ability to lead and develop IT department staff members.
- A team player with good interpersonal skill, highly resourceful, well-organized, motivator and excellent time management.
