It Production Assistant Manager

Role - IT Production Assistant ManagerReports to - IT Production Head -APAC**Responsibilities**:- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and break fix on all laptops, printers, phone systems, servers, network devices, door access systems, CCTV, audio video equipment's, etc.- Management and administration of local active directory, GPO, firewall, VPN, Wi-Fi access points.- Be a role model for IT to the business and to also ensure that all global processes and procedures are followed locally.- Maintain accurate inventory and record of all local hardware and software asses in CMDB.- Liaise with the IT Shared service Centre for detailed issues on servers and networks.- Security & compliance and audit related activities.- Manage local incident & change request and pursue to its completion.- Prepare IT reports as and when required.- Participate in regional and global projects and meetings.**Minimum Requirements**:- Minimum 5 6 years of experience in a desktop and server support role in the IT field- Basic hands on knowledge on MS server OS installations and VMWare.- Basic hands on knowledge on Cisco network switches and access points.- Degree in Information Technology- ITIL V3 foundation certification- Good to excellent command of English and Malay both written and oral.- Any additional language used in Malaysia is an advantage.- Ability to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense**Personal Attributes**:- Strong team player- Proactive instead of reactive.
