The team is looking for a dynamic individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and shape the future of a strategic group within Lazada.Reporting to the Head of Law Enforcement & Intelligence of Lazada Group, you will be responsible for the following core duties;- Act as the regional lead to support local stakeholders in responding to, investigating, managing and resolving incidents and escalations around product authenticity, fraudulent activities and health and safety issues- Able to analyse data from multiple sources to produce actionable intelligence, in order to facilitate effective on-ground investigations and enforcement- Collaborate closely with regional and local legal, PR, policy, Govt Affairs and other teams within Lazada Group- Effectively recognize platform risk by performing relevant research and data analysis using both internal and external tools and resources- Employ investigative techniques and methods to gather evidence to build cases against infringers and devise and execute effective action plans- Own and or manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency relating to risk areas, working extensively with internal and external teams- Review, scrutinize and respond to emergency requests received from law enforcement agencies for information within established procedures- Record and clearly articulate operational decisions ensuring compliance in line with policies and procedures**Job Requirements**- At least 5 years of investigation work experience both in public service (e.g., law enforcement and or regulatory agency) and in the private sector.- Experience in managing investigations in South East Asia, in particular in the online space- Strong analytical, investigative and judgment skills- Able to perform data analysis and use data sets to find patterns and anomalies that can be used to identify potential threat actors- Exceptional bias for action, i.e. willing to move quickly and decisively to resolve incidents- Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization- Excellent cross group collaborator- High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information- Good network of contacts with law enforcement, regulatory agencies and investigation service providers in South East Asia is a plus- Good command of English. Ability to communicate in another Asian language will be valued, but is not a requirement
