**In this position you will....Provide paralegal support across a wide range of tasks to the Group Legal and the Company Secretarial function.**You will be responsible for **- Assisting legal and compliance professionals to prepare documentation including legal advice, memorandums, presentations, policies, procedures and training- Reviewing and drafting legal documentation such as non-disclosure agreements, contract addendums/extensions and contract renewals and terminations- Conducting research and drafting reports and summaries of research and external advices and case law- Writing articles for internal or external circulation- Managing small department/team projects and liaising and coordinating with external parties to follow up on business projects- Compiling, preparing and maintaining proper files/records of relevant documentation such as Board and Board Committee papers, minutes, Chairmans' briefs etc- Preparing and filing notices and documentation and supporting 'know your customers' due diligence processes- Supporting Office of General Counsel and corporate record retention and maintenance including assisting with the design of department systems and processes- Assisting with system implementation and rollout- Keeping proper records including maintaining Office of General Counsel sharepoint sites and databases such as of all pending and threatened litigation, templates, conflicts of interest and license registers and 'know how' libraries- Maintaining and continuously improving the contract repository and other management information databases including assuring quality and completeness- Preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations**For you to be successful**We expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies**we expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:Impactful- Focused on objectives and identifies activities and key results required to meet them.- Proactive in identifying what needs to be done, and taking action, before being asked, or before the situation escalates. Appreciates feedback and provides timely specific feedback in return.**You will require the following qualifications and skills**- Law degree holder or currently studying a legal related program.- Prior experience gained from in-house role desirable.- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent command of English is a must.
