**Responsibilities**_- Monitor performance against department KPI's and delivery results.- Manage, lead, schedule, allocate and monitor work of procurement team members.- Provide training for the procurement team to ensure maximum performance.- Review suppliers for compliance with company's quality criteria.- Work with Product Department and Immediate Reporting Head to execute strategic sourcing and vendor selection.- Issue purchase orders, monitor and manage purchase orders through their full lifecycle.- Manage relationships with suppliers. Evaluate performance and areas of opportunity.- Perform routine follow-up and effective resolution tactics to settle fulfilment issues and invoice variances.- Assist with inventory management as it relates to procurement activities.- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to take stocking positions and make purchasing decisions.- Identify opportunities for implementation of cost savings and process improvements.- Proactively manage the status of items as they move through the procurement lifecycle and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders promptly.- Responsible to maintain and manage the P&L of the products.- Work hand in hand with Finance Department on the cost and budget allocation.- Assist the team and department day to day job to ensure all related day to day activities being done accordingly to the SOP and guideline sets.**Qualifications/Requirements**- Degree in any field that related to the position applied.- Ability to interact professionally and adapt to a wide variety of different communication styles both inside and outside the organization.- Ability to recognize, analyse, and offer solutions to problems or involve the necessary people to ensure the problem is properly resolved.- The ability to make sound decisions to successfully integrate objective, opportunities and resources and liaise with other cross functional employees and work with multiple processes and procedures.- Time management skills are necessary to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.- Accounting and mathematical skills to conduct value analysis, discrepancy resolution, and the review of bids and pricing proposals.- Ability to acquire detailed knowledge of specific customers, pricing, products, product lines, and packing & shipping standards.- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:- Bangsar South (required)Ability to Relocate:- Bangsar South: Relocate before starting work (required)
