Full job description Responsible / handle general purchase that involve sourcing, bidding, negotiation and Purchase Order (PO) execution on electrical, project, service contract and others. Periodically price review for the existing purchased items. Ensure that all procurement functions are adhered to company policies, rules and regulations. Controlling, maintaining, and monitoring all outstanding orders. Checking requisition and to liaise with requestors on any inaccuracy or discrepancy. Requesting for quotation, evaluation offers, proposal from vendors/suppliers and prepare price comparison and decision analysis for management approval. Planning, processing and issuing of PO in accordance to the purchasing procedures. Tracking and monitoring the outstanding order and corresponding with suppliers to make the necessary adjustment to the delivery and shipment accordingly. Responsible for cost savings, improve/manage supplier's lead time and payment term. Sourcing for reliable suppliers and evaluating existing suppliers to ensure compliance with monitoring supplier's delivery schedule and ensure all requisitions are fulfilled. Responsible for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts. Liaise with client, contractor, and project team. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project. To take measurement and ensure that the prices quoted in the tender are accurate and appropriate. Preparing technical contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentations based on tender specifications & drawing. Have adequate knowledge of understanding Electrical tender drawings and able to pick up tender quantities for bill of materials or quantities (BOM/BOQ) Submission of tender, attend tender interview and tender presentation. Call for quotation and negotiation with subcontractor and suppliers, monitor and control project cost, evaluate contractual claims. To evaluate the progress claim received from subcontractors and suppliers and preparing monthly progress claim and progress payment. Resolve outstanding claim issues and prepare final accounts and variation orders promptly. Job Type: Contract
