• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials.
• Evaluate vendor/supplier quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
• To advice purchasing process/procedures to management, vendors and clients.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders, delivery & shipment schedules.
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors/suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
• Work closely with other business departments to achieve target pricing points and timely delivery and desired quality of product and services.
• Conduct price negotiation with supplier/vendor and prepare price comparison matrix for management's approval.
• Continue sourcing for new suppliers and assist in selection and evaluation of existing and new purchase orders or contracts with suppliers.
• To update and compile information and records of all company purchases.
• To submit on time complete PO, SO and invoice to Finance Department to ensure smooth process of payment.
• To conduct monthly product inventory counting/audit (inter company/branches).
• Able to prepare purchasing cost analysis reports and to maintain all related records/documents/data as per ISO requirement.
• To take charge and to received goods delivered by supplier and to make comparison against our PO.
• Assist to prepare department report for management on monthly basis and as and when required by management.
• To do forecast for every 6 months on the standard price and rate. Accommodate other on the standard calculation reference of each forecast.
