Organization SE CFO Business Unit Accounting & Controlling Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You will work in a team of domain experts, in which your tasks include clarification of accounting issues, analysis of errors, initiation of any corrections and involvement in process improvement activities or initiatives. You will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders such as regional accounting hubs, local business teams, and other partners within Siemens Energy's global communities. You will be responsible to support the Cash & Bank Analyst to support any Cash & Bank related issues. You will be proactively proposing and involve in process improvements ideas and initiatives or other improved solutions. How You'll Make an Impact You will take ownership of daily Cash & Bank transactions and month-end-closing activities and ensure they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP quality standards or any other relevant regulations and guidelines. Your area of responsibilities includes: Validate and ensure timely error-free uploads of bank statements. Perform open items clearing for completeness and reconcile SAP and bank interface balances. Complete bank reconciliations, follow up on aged items, and clarify with responsible parties. Record cash transactions, create journals for internal/external Bank Accounts, and address clarifications. Investigate and resolve payment rejections, perform Month End activities, and maintain general housekeeping of Cash and Bank accounts. Contribute to internal controls, participate in audits, update DTP documentation, and standardize/automate workflows for Cash & Bank processes. Lead and actively contribute to finance transformation projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and support initiatives related to Cash and Bank, Mergers and Acquisitions, ERP migration, and workflow standardization. Listen actively and continuously focused on stakeholder requests, running complex and uncertain operational issues, while decisively moving forward in taking ownership of decisions, together with the Cash & Bank Senior Analyst. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or relevant working experience in Cash & Bank Accounting. Preferably first experiences in the field of Cash & Bank Accounting & Finance Operations. Good knowledge of accounting and experience in using SAP. Basic knowledge of IFRS accounting is preferable. Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel). Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage. Open-mindedness and willingness to learn, to build your skills and capabilities. You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile. Ability to read, write and speak fluent Mandarin is required as this position will support China market.
