Software Engineer (Back-End Developer)

Job Responsibilities:-Compile and analyze data and codes to troubleshoot problems as well as identify areas for improvement. -Collaboration with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. -Be involved and participate in the overall system and application development.-Stay up to date with current best practices and learn new programming.-Define and communicate technical and design requirements.-Working with the content management system, especially WordPress.-Contribute to innovating on and building features for our webpage, homepage, and e-commerce site. -Handle independent technical projects, provide contributions in an innovative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.-Work closely with Director, and other IT members to ensure effective development.
Skills and Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. -At least 2 – 4 years of experience building web-based applications and websites with expertise in HTML, CSS, Java, PHP, or Python and operating systems.-Familiarity with front-end skills will be a plus.-Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools. -Good with efficiency, user experience, and process improvement. -Good project and time management skills.-Work well in a team as well as individually.-Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
