Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
We are looking for a Supply Chain Executive to manage supplies and equipment based on our company's needs.
You will be responsible for researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and updating order record. If you are familiar with supply chain procedures in handling export/import matters, and know how to create and translate cost analyses, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.
Responsibilities Manage Import/Export operations (Finished Goods), liaising closely with overseas' distribution centres. Billing for sea FCL/LCL, and Air, weekly/monthly settlement report, analysing cost effective of purchases for each shipment. Liaise with freight forwarders for shipment tracking, custom permit update, and arrange government inspection if necessary. Follow up with vendors, as needed, to confirm or change orders. Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with logistic staffs to ensure all products (raw materials) arrive in good condition; Conduct regular inspections and audits of incoming raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to address any quality-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary. Maintain or improvise quality assurance, to ensure all products (raw materials) are safe (background checked), cost effective, and assured quality. Monitor stock levels (raw materials) and identify purchasing needs. Update internal databases with order details and maintain updated records of invoices and summary payments. Research potential vendors and make recommendations. Conduct market research to identify pricing trends. Evaluate offers and negotiate pricing from vendors.
