**Supply Chain Lead****Supply Chain Lead*****Reporting to**:Finance & Operations Director**Department**:Customer Service & Supply Chain**Location**:Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia**Customer Services & Purchasing**- Manage the team of Customer Service and Purchasing representative.- Responsible for ensuring compliance to processes and procedures related to customer's order and supplier's purchasing management.- Manage escalations and issues related to the process and implement improvements.- Maintain excellent business relationships with all stakeholders.- Creating a positive working environment for the team to achieve KPIs- Pro-active communication with related supporting departments to ensure a smooth delivery process and appropriate checks and controls in order and purchasing processing.- Regularly review with BU's to manage demand planning, maintain stock availability and optimize stock level.- Managing purchasing for selected key suppliers, submit import requisition for approval, generate PO & ensure deliveries/shipments are received on required date.- Involved in staff recruitment & training to deliver a high standard of CS and purchasing staff.- Manage a good relationship with customers; be proactive to anticipate on any complaint related to the deliveries and stock availability.- Take ownership of the Intercompany CS process between Malaysia and sister entities.**Supply Chain**General:- Manage and take ownership of the local supply chain function.- Implement, execute, and monitor the IMCD Global Supply Chain Management Policy, the associated guidelines, procedures, and instructions.- Plan an annual supply chain risk analysis & action plan submitting it to the Regional Supply Chain Manager before the end of January of each year and conduct/execute such plan throughout the same year.- Comply with the SC controls and requirements from the IMCD Risk and Control framework.Local Operation:- Gain and secure understanding of all logistic aspects of the local operation:- Warehousing / transportation / air & sea-freight / value added services- Local regulation / guidelines for warehousing & transportation of all goods- All flows from Principals to IMCD, from IMCD to customers and between IMCD Malaysia and other IMCD entities (Intercompany business)- Ensure compliance of warehouse operation according to business and quality requirements- Create, improve and document logistics processes and procedures (internal & external)- Responsible for stock management, key user for MRP/inventory management- Analyze shipping behavior (size, type, frequency, destinations etc.) to monitor trends, deviations and waste and drive continuous improvement.- Provide upfront analytic support to the Business Units in case of projects and new local business and play an active role in the onboarding of new business.- Attend local management meetings and update on cost/developments/projects, etc.3PL Management:- Ensure 3PL providers have all licenses and permits in place as required for warehousing & transportation of all goods.- Setup of SLA's and KPI's, measure performance and conduct timely business / performance reviews (internal & external) with 3PL providers.- Manage and maintain the 3PL cost development.- Lead year-end rate negotiations with 3PL providers based on the result of descent business reviews throughout the year (considering performance, developments, continuous improvement, business outlook etc.)- Conduct timely quality audits to 3PL providers.- Prepare a robust back-up plan for warehousing and transportation. Maintain continuous understanding of the local 3PL market.- Manage contracts with 3PL providers and align with Regional Supply Chain Manager in case of changes or renewal.IT & Digitalization:- Responsible for freight rate management JDE.- Manage approval procedure for new stock locations in JDE.- Responsible for accurate NCR management in Salesforce- Manage & control EDI interface with 3PL provider(s).- Accurate documentation of QBR reports, local contracts and agreements in document management tool.- Lead the local implementation & follow training sessions on new tools, features and developments related to the operations.On communication:- Single Point of Contact for supply chain related aspects- for all Business Units- for all 3PL providers in use of IMCD Malaysia- for all Intercompany related topics & questions with IMCD sister entities- Maintain contact with other (logistics) and support functions in Europe/Asia- Single Point of contact (and engage with) for peers across the globe- Maintain a pro-active line with Regional Supply Chain ManagerOn Sustainable Procurement:- Take full ownership of the downstream supplier approach as described Sustainable Procurement policy.- Ensure all 3PL service providers have signed the ESG Standards for Business Partners document.- Drive EcoVadis downstream supplier screening- Initiate and dr
