Purchasing Executive (Mandarin Speaker)

Source and negotiate of best price offers for commodities to support business operations- Execute purchasing contracts for commodities to reduce price fluctuations- Analyze purchase orders and delivery time with the aim to reduce operating capital, increase inventory turnover and increase payment terms- Collect and report market information, prepare price forecasts for budgeting as well as monitor and analyze market development and initiate changes- Analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvement plan, also work with the operations team on cost-savings initiatives.- Forecast levels of demand for services and products.- Keep a constant check on stock levels and record reference.- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and projects.- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.Job Specifications:- Minimum 2 year of working experience specialising in Purchasing field.- Preferably experiences in Food and Beverage, FMCG Retail Industry or equivalent.- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.- Expert in negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts/orders with suppliers and other representatives.- Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently.- Well versed in cost control, food costing, food cost analysis.- Able to speak, write and read in Mandarin, English & Malay and deal with China counterparts.**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Buyer/Purchaser: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- Mandarin (required)
